Android Developer
Are you ready to bring our App and your career to the next level? Squawkin is looking for an experienced and energetic Android Developer to be a key member of our team working full time on the Squawkin platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Design & Develop Android application
- Collaborate with the team and product management
- Provide creative and technical insight for new feature sets
- Build out UI's using the android framework
- Communicate directly with other engineers
- Add new feature sets
- Test and launch successful & complex Android applications
Required Skill Sets:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- 4+ years building complex Android apps using Java and other frameworks
- Java (Objective C & C++ is a bonus)
- Great understanding of memory & file management
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK + ADT tools
- Time table and deadline management
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Thrive and enjoy small team environments, casual and creative office settings
- Experience developing, releasing and maintaining native Java applications (point us to your apps on Google Play
- Experience collaborating on software projects – prove that that you can work efficiently as part of a team.
